Felt for drawing a realistic salamence just like my flygon~

So again, I try to make these fit into my world of dragons by design. Salamence body looks more like a reptile than saurian, so I made him a false dragon = a reptile, as they don't have hollow bones and what's needed for flight/gliding. Smaller lizards could glide tough, and he's based partly on one of those. Their "wings" are actually extended ribs, but for salamence, it's more of a frill.

Description for my type of salamence:
A large reptile that spends its life living in valleys and on mountains. Both genders have a frill on each side of their back. The males frill is much larger and brighter red, used for attracting females and frighten other males or creatures.

They are vicious and very territorial. When battling for females, their fights can get fatal. Females lay about 3-7 eggs in a cave. As bagons, they are able to walk upright, for a more quicker escape from predators and other salamence-dragons.

As sellgons, their head-scales extend, and belly scales grow, forming a kind of shell that protects them. The weight of the scales forces them to walk on all fours. During teh time they grow bigger, the head scales disappear by time, and salamence features begin to show.
